We live in uncertain times. The pandemic has shaped all our lives. We are on the edge of the precipice of climate emergency. Brexit has divided our communities. The fighting in Ukraine has brought war closer than it has been for nearly 80 years. And we face a serious cost of living crisis. We need to respond and we need an approach pertinent to our predicament.
Spaces of Hope has been coproduced by over 1000 people from the North West of England to respond to the uncertainties that are increasingly shaping our lives. Since its inception in 2016, Spaces of Hope has developed a movement, convened networked gatherings and dialogues that have brought hope to people across 70+ organisations, 14 communities, 5 local authority areas, 2 universities and 3 Diocese. As we learn to live with COVID, Spaces of Hope will explore new forms of dialogue, local leadership and shared values that can rebuild society for all. The question is, What are Spaces of Hope? |
